Dreamy Orange Cream Delight
Ingredients
- 1 packet Orange Jell-O (3 oz)
- 1 packet Instant vanilla pudding (3.4 oz)
- 1 tub Cool Whip (8 oz)
- 1 can Mandarin oranges, drained (15 oz)
- 1 cup Mini marshmallows
Instructions
1. Mix the Jell-O: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, prepare the Orange Jell-O according to the package instructions, using cold water to help it set quicker. Once mixed, set aside until partially set, about PT30M (30 minutes).
2. Prepare the pudding: While the Jell-O is setting, in another bowl, prepare the instant vanilla pudding following the directions on the box. Ensure it thickens and holds a creamy consistency, then chill in the refrigerator for PT10M (10 minutes).
3. Fold in the Cool Whip: Once the Jell-O is partially set, gently fold in the Cool Whip using a rubber spatula. Mix until it’s smooth and evenly distributed, giving the mixture a light and fluffy texture.
4. Combine with pudding: Add the chilled vanilla pudding to the Jell-O and Cool Whip mixture. Stir gently until all components are fully incorporated. This ensures a smooth, creamy dessert foundation.
5. Incorporate the oranges and marshmallows: Gently fold in the drained mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows. Be careful not to crush the oranges, maintaining a textured bite in each spoonful of the dessert.
6. Chill the dessert: Transfer the mixture into a serving dish or individual cups. Cover and refrigerate for at least PT1H (1 hour) to allow flavors to meld and the dessert to firm up slightly.
