Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure it's hot enough for roasting. This should take around 10 minutes.
2. Prepare the Green Beans
Rinse the green beans under cold water and dry them thoroughly with a paper towel. Trim the ends if not pre-trimmed.
3. Season the Green Beans
In a large bowl, combine the green beans with olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until the beans are evenly coated.
4. Arrange for Roasting
Spread the coated green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet. It's best to use parchment paper to prevent sticking.
