Indulgent Nutella Fudge Mousse
Ingredients
- 1 cup Nutella hazelnut chocolate spread
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
1. Prepare the Chocolate Base:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1 cup of Nutella and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. Heat in the microwave on high in 15-second intervals, stirring in-between, until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. This should take about three intervals.
2. Blend the Cream:
In a separate bowl, pour 1 cup of heavy cream and add 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Using a hand mixer, beat the mixture on medium-high speed until soft peaks form. Be careful not to over-whip; it should have a gentle dollop consistency.
3. Incorporate Milk and Flavors:
Gently warm 1/2 cup of whole milk in the microwave for 20 seconds, ensuring it's not too hot. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1/4 teaspoon of kosher salt, stirring to blend.
4. Combine Ingredients:
Gradually fold the warm milk mixture into the melted Nutella until smooth. Next, gently fold in the whipped cream mixture, taking care not to deflate the mousse. The goal is a light, airy texture.
5. Chill the Mousse:
Transfer the mixture into individual serving dishes. Cover each dish with plastic wrap and chill in the fridge for at least 2 hours until set.
6. Serve and Enjoy:
Once firm, remove from the fridge and serve chilled. Optionally, garnish with a dollop of whipped cream or a sprinkle of grated chocolate for added presentation.
