Cheddar Jalapeño Cornbread Breakfast Delight
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 large eggs

- 1/4 cup pickled jalapeños, diced
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch round or square baking pan with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
2. Combine Dry Ingredients:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, yellow cornmeal, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Ensure the mixture is well-combined to distribute the leavening agents evenly.
3. Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, beat together the melted butter and honey until well blended. Add the eggs, one at a time, whisking after each addition until the mixture is smooth. Stir in the whole milk and sour cream until all ingredients are well incorporated.
