Ultimate Gourmet Grilled Cheese Panini
Ingredients
- 4 slices Sourdough Bread
- 2 tablespoons Butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
- 2 slices Provolone Cheese
- 2 slices Gouda Cheese
- 1/2 cup Mozzarella Cheese, shredded
- 4 slices Bacon, cooked
- 4 slices Ham
- 1/4 cup Onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup Mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup Tomatoes, sliced
- 1/4 cup Pickles, sliced
- 1 tablespoon Tabasco Sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 tablespoon Jalapeño Slices
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
Cook the bacon until crispy and set aside. Sauté the onions and mushrooms in a pan over medium heat until tender, about 5 minutes.
2. Butter the Bread:
Mix the softened butter and garlic powder in a small bowl. Spread the garlic butter mixture generously on one side of each sourdough bread slice.
3. Assemble the Sandwich:
Lay two buttered bread slices, buttered side down, on a flat surface.
- Layer each slice with 2 slices of cheddar cheese.
- Add 2 slices of ham, sautéed onions, and mushrooms to each.
- Add 2 slices of bacon, provolone, and gouda cheese.
- Drizzle each with Tabasco sauce and sprinkle with red pepper flakes.
- Layer with mozzarella cheese, tomato slices, pickles, and jalapeño slices.
4. Top the Sandwich:
Place the remaining bread slices on top, buttered side up.
5. Cook on Stove:
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the sandwiches in the skillet. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, pressing down gently, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
6. Serve:
Remove from skillet, let cool for a minute, then slice each sandwich diagonally for easier handling. Serve warm.
