- 4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced

- 1 cup rolled oats

- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions



1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the Apples:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced Granny Smith apples with lemon juice, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss the apples to ensure they are evenly coated. Set aside to allow the flavors to meld for approximately 10 minutes.

3. Make the Crisp Topping:
