Decadent Breakfast Bloody Mary with Seafood and Sliders
Ingredients
- For the Bloody Mary Base:
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 3 tablespoons vodka
- 1 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon horseradish
- 1 cup spring water
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the Garnishes:
- 4 cooked shrimp
- 2 crab legs, cooked and cracked
- 4 hamburger sliders, cooked, with cheese
- 4 strips candied bacon
- 8 olives
- 8 small assorted peppers
- Mineral water (for serving)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Bloody Mary Base:
- In a medium-sized pot, combine 2 cups of tomato juice, 3 tablespoons of vodka, 1 teaspoon of hot sauce, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 tablespoon of horseradish.
- Add 1 cup of spring water. Stir the mixture well to ensure all ingredients are combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Allow the mixture to simmer on the stove over low heat for about 10 minutes (PT10M) to meld the flavors.
2. Cook the Hamburger Sliders:
- Shape ground beef into small slider patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook on a stovetop grill or skillet over medium heat for about 4 minutes per side (PT8M), until well-browned and cooked through.
- Place a slice of cheese on each slider in the last minute of cooking to melt.
3. Prepare the Garnishes:
- Cook shrimp by boiling until pink and opaque, approximately 3 minutes (PT3M).
- Cook crab legs in boiling water for 5 minutes (PT5M), then crack them for easy access to the meat.
- Pan-fry candied bacon until crispy, about 6 minutes (PT6M).
- Prepare olives and assorted peppers for serving by lightly washing them if necessary.
4. Assemble the Bloody Mary:
- Pour the prepared Bloody Mary base into tall glasses filled with ice.
- Top each glass with mineral water.
- Skewer shrimp, crab meat, olives, peppers, and cheese sliders with decorative sticks or skewers. Place one garnish skewer in each glass.
- Add a strip of candied bacon as an additional garnish for each drink.
