Ingredients
- 1 standard-sized bag of microwave popcorn
- 1 cup pumpkin marshmallows
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
Instructions
1. Prepare the Popcorn:
- Place the microwave popcorn bag in the microwave and cook according to the package instructions, usually around PT2M to PT3M (2 to 3 minutes) until the popping slows to about 2 seconds between pops.
- Carefully open the bag, avoiding any steam, and pour the popcorn into a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
2. Make the Pumpkin Marshmallow Sauce:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the pumpkin marshmallows, brown sugar, and unsalted butter.
- Microwave the mixture on high power for PT1M (1 minute).
- Remove from the microwave and stir to combine. Continue to microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until the marshmallows are fully melted and the mixture is smooth and combined, approximately an additional PT1M (1 minute).

4. Set and Cool:
- Spread the coated popcorn onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, allowing it to cool and set for approximately PT10M (10 minutes) at room temperature.
