Decadent Slow-Cooker Chocolate Nut Clusters
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups peanut butter
- 1 cup salted peanuts
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crock Pot: Line your crock pot with a slow cooker liner to make cleanup easier, or spray it lightly with non-stick cooking spray.
2. Layer the Ingredients:
- Add the semi-sweet chocolate chips to the base of the crock pot.
- Follow with dollops of the peanut butter, spreading it on top of the chocolate chips.
- Sprinkle the salted peanuts and chopped pecans evenly over the peanut butter and chocolate.
- Lastly, add the white chocolate chips on top.
3. Cooking Process:
- Set the crock pot to LOW heat.
- Allow the ingredients to cook together for about PT1H 30M (1 hour and 30 minutes). Check occasionally to prevent overcooking.
4. Combine and Blend:
- After the cook time has elapsed, gently stir the mixture with a wooden spoon or spatula until all ingredients are smoothly combined and the chocolates are fully melted.
5. Form the Clusters:
- Using a tablespoon, scoop the melted mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Shape each scoop into small clusters, ensuring they are spaced apart to avoid sticking together.
6. Cooling Time:
- Allow the clusters to cool at room temperature for PT1H (1 hour), or place them in the refrigerator for PT20M (20 minutes) to set faster.
7. Serve and Enjoy:
- Once set, the clusters are ready to serve. Enjoy these delightful chocolate nut treats at any gathering or as an indulgent snack!
