Perfectly Deviled Eggs with Ranch and Chives
Ingredients
- 6 large eggs, boiled and peeled
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning
- 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Eggs:
- Place the boiled eggs on a cutting board and carefully slice each egg in half lengthwise.
- Gently remove the yolks and place them in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Set the egg whites aside on a serving platter.
2. Make the Filling:
- Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and dry ranch seasoning to the egg yolks in the mixing bowl.
- Using a fork, mash the yolks and mix until the ingredients are thoroughly combined and smooth.
- Stir in half of the chopped chives, reserving the other half for garnish.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Assemble the Deviled Eggs:
- Using a spoon or a piping bag, carefully fill each egg white half with the yolk mixture.
- Ensure that the filling is evenly distributed among all the egg halves.
4. Garnish and Serve:
- Sprinkle the remaining chopped chives over the filled eggs for a burst of color and flavor.
- Optionally, dust with a pinch of paprika for a spicy kick and visual appeal.
- Serve immediately, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
