Heavenly Pretzel Crust Cheesecake Delight



Ingredients



- 2 cups pretzels, crushed
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup confectioners sugar
- 8 oz frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 21 oz can pie filling (flavor of your choice)

Instructions



1. Prepare the Pretzel Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Crush 2 cups of pretzels into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a resealable plastic bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, 3/4 cup of melted butter, and 1/4 cup of granulated sugar. Stir well until the mixture resembles wet sand.

2. Bake the Crust:
- Press the pretzel mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes until set. Remove from oven and allow it to cool completely.

3. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat 8 oz of softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add 1 cup of confectioners sugar, beating well after each addition to ensure a smooth consistency.
- Fold in 8 oz of thawed frozen whipped topping. Mix gently until combined.

4. Assemble the Cheesecake:
- Once the pretzel crust is completely cool, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
- Top the cheesecake with your choice of pie filling, spreading it evenly over the cream cheese layer.

5. Chill and Serve:
- Cover the pie dish with plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until set.
- Slice and serve chilled.
