Creamy Herb Yogurt Dressing

Ingredients

- 1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup light olive oil mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons skim milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Combine Yogurt and Mayonnaise:
In a medium-sized bowl, add 1 cup of plain nonfat Greek yogurt and 1/4 cup of light olive oil mayonnaise. Use a whisk to blend them together until smooth.

2. Incorporate Skim Milk:
Gradually whisk in 2 tablespoons of skim milk. This will help achieve a creamy consistency. Continue whisking until the mixture is fully integrated and smooth.

3. Add Flavorings:
Stir in the minced garlic, ensuring it's evenly distributed throughout the mixture. Then, add 1 teaspoon of dill weed, 1 teaspoon of dried parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder to enhance the herbaceous flavors.

4. Season with Pepper:
Sprinkle in 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Taste the dressing and adjust seasonings as desired. For a more intense flavor, allow the dressing to sit for a few minutes to let the flavors meld.

5. Chill Before Serving:
Transfer the dressing to a clean jar or airtight container. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the flavors to develop further. Shake or stir before serving.

6. Serving Suggestion:
Use this creamy herb yogurt dressing as a light and refreshing topping for salads, as a dip for fresh vegetables, or a spread for sandwiches.
