Oven-Roasted Salmon with Caesar Salad Dressing and Lemon Wedges
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets (each about 6 oz)
- 1 tablespoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup Caesar salad dressing
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
2. Prepare the Salmon
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. This step ensures the salmon will roast well and become perfectly crispy on the outside.
3. Season the Salmon
Sprinkle both sides of each fillet with kosher salt and black pepper. Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, skin side down if your fillets have skin.
4. Roast the Salmon
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the salmon for about 12-15 minutes, depending on the thickness of your fillets. To check doneness, insert a fork into the thickest part of a fillet; it should flake easily.
5. Apply Caesar Dressing
Carefully remove the salmon from the oven. Using a brush or spoon, evenly coat each fillet with Caesar salad dressing. Return to the oven and roast for an additional 3-5 minutes, allowing the dressing to slightly caramelize.
6. Serve
Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a minute. Serve with fresh lemon wedges on the side for an added burst of flavor.
