Dill Pickle & Ranch Cream Cheese Dip
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup finely chopped dill pickles
- 2 tablespoons pickle brine
- 1/4 cup sliced banana peppers
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ingredients:
Begin by softening the cream cheese. Remove it from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes until it's soft and easy to stir.
2. Mix the Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. Stir the mixture with a spoon or a spatula until it is smooth and well-blended.
3. Season the Dip:
Add the ranch seasoning mix to the cream cheese mixture. Stir in the chopped dill pickles and pickle brine, ensuring that they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
4. Add the Peppers & Dill:
Incorporate the sliced banana peppers into the dip, followed by the freshly chopped dill. Stir gently to combine all the flavors thoroughly.
5. Season to Taste:
Add salt and freshly ground black pepper according to your taste preferences. Stir well.
6. Chill the Dip:
Transfer the dip into a serving bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
7. Serve:
Once chilled, garnish with a bit more fresh dill, if desired. Serve the dip with an assortment of crackers, vegetable sticks, or bread slices.
