Oven-Roasted Campari Tomato Bites
Ingredients
- 1 pound Campari tomatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat Your Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
2. Prepare the Tomatoes:
- Wash the Campari tomatoes thoroughly and pat dry.
- Slice each tomato in half and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.
3. Season the Tomatoes:
- Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil evenly over the tomatoes.
- Sprinkle sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and dried oregano uniformly over all tomato halves.
- Distribute the thinly sliced garlic across the tomatoes.
