Crunchy Apple-Grape Blue Cheese Salad with Vinegar Chip Crumble

Ingredients

- 1 head iceberg lettuce, chopped
- 2 medium apples, cored and sliced
- 1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
- 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1 cup salt and vinegar potato chips, crushed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

1. Prepare the Salad Base
Chop the iceberg lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Core and slice the apples into thin wedges. Halve the red grapes.

2. Make the Dressing
In a bowl, combine sour cream, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Whisk until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning if necessary.

3. Toss the Salad
In a large serving bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, sliced apples, and halved grapes. Pour the dressing over the top and gently toss using tongs until all ingredients are evenly coated.

4. Add The Toppings
Sprinkle crumbled blue cheese evenly on top of the salad. Add the crushed salt and vinegar potato chips as a final layer for a crunchy texture.

5. Serve
Serve immediately to maintain the crunchy texture of the chips. Divide into 4 portions or serve in a large communal bowl.
