Crunchy Asian Sesame Salad with Honey-Ginger Dressing



Ingredients



For the Salad:
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1/2 cup honey roasted peanuts, roughly chopped

For the Dressing:
- 3 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions



1. Prepare the Vegetables:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 4 cups of shredded cabbage, 1 cup of shredded carrots, 1/4 cup of chopped cilantro, and 1/4 cup of chopped green onion. Toss lightly to mix the vegetables evenly.

2. Make the Dressing:
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together 3 tablespoons of toasted sesame oil, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes until well combined and emulsified.

3. Dress the Salad:
- Pour the dressing over the shredded vegetable mixture. Use a pair of tongs to toss the salad until all ingredients are well coated with the dressing.

4. Add the Crunch:
