Banana Cream Cheesecake Delight
Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 Prepared Graham Cracker Crust
Cheesecake Filling:
- 16 oz Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 3/4 cup White Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Almond Extract
Banana Pudding Layer:
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 1 package (3.4 oz) Instant French Vanilla Pudding Mix
- 8 oz Cool Whip, thawed
- 2 Bananas, sliced
Topping:
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1/4 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 1/4 cup Nilla Wafers, crushed
Sauce:
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling:
- In a large mixing bowl, beat 16 oz of softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add 1/2 cup of sweetened condensed milk and continue mixing until fully incorporated.
- Mix in 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter, 3/4 cup of white sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and 1/2 tsp of almond extract. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
3. Assemble the Cheesecake:
- Pour the cheesecake filling into the prepared graham cracker crust.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set and just a bit jiggly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool to room temperature.
4. Prepare the Banana Pudding Layer:
- In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together 1 cup of whole milk and 1 package of instant French vanilla pudding mix until smooth.
- Fold in 8 oz of thawed Cool Whip.
- Layer banana slices over the cooled cheesecake base. Spread the pudding mixture gently over the bananas.
5. Make the Topping:
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 cup of flour, and 1/4 cup of melted unsalted butter until crumbly.
- Stir in 1/4 cup of crushed Nilla Wafers. Sprinkle evenly over the pudding layer.
6. Prepare the Sauce:
- In a small saucepan, combine 1 tbsp of cornstarch, 1/2 tsp of baking powder, 1/4 tsp of baking soda, and 1/4 tsp of salt.
- Stir in 1 cup of water and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
7. Chill and Serve:
- Refrigerate the cheesecake for at least 2 hours before serving.
- Serve chilled with a drizzle of the prepared sauce.
