Broiled Sourdough with Brie, Nectarine, and Honey Drizzle
Ingredients
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced
- 2 ripe nectarines, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 8 fresh basil leaves
Instructions
1. Prepare the Baking Sheet:
Preheat your broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
2. Prepare the Bread:
Brush both sides of the sourdough bread slices with olive oil. Place them on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
3. Arrange the Ingredients:
Place an even layer of brie cheese slices on each piece of bread. Follow with a few slices of nectarine, distributing them evenly.
4. Broil:
Place the baking sheet under the preheated broiler. Broil for about 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese begins to melt and bubble. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
5. Finish with Honey and Basil:
Remove the toasts from the oven. Drizzle honey over each slice and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
6. Serve Immediately:
Transfer toasts to a serving platter and serve immediately while warm and gooey. Enjoy your gourmet snack!
