Caramelized Coca-Cola Peanut Crunch

Ingredients

- 1 cup Coca-Cola
- 2 cups salted peanuts
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

2. Prepare Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

3. Simmer Coca-Cola Mixture
In a medium saucepan, combine Coca-Cola and granulated sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture comes to a boil. Allow it to boil for about 10 minutes, stirring frequently, until it reduces slightly and starts to thicken.
