- 1 lemon, halved

1. Prepare the Grill: Preheat your charcoal grill for high, direct heat. You want the coals to be hot and ashen, which typically takes about 20 minutes. Arrange the coals to create a hot zone for grilling.

2. Prep the Broccolini: Rinse the broccolini thoroughly under cold water and pat dry with a clean kitchen towel. Trim the ends of the broccolini to remove any tough stems.

3. Season the Broccolini: In a large bowl, toss the broccolini with olive oil until evenly coated. Sprinkle with kosher salt, garlic powder, and freshly ground black pepper. Toss again to distribute the seasonings uniformly.
