Cheese Fusion Oven Crisps
Ingredients
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Gouda cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Grana Padano cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). This will ensure even cooking and the perfect texture for your cheese crisps.
2. Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent the crisps from sticking and to make cleanup easier.
3. Mix the Cheeses: In a large mixing bowl, combine the Cheddar, Gouda, Swiss, Parmesan, and Grana Padano cheeses. Stir gently to ensure an even mix of all the cheese varieties.
4. Form Cheese Mounds: Using a tablespoon, scoop the cheese mixture and place it onto the prepared baking sheet. Flatten each mound slightly with the back of the spoon, leaving about 1 inch between each mound to allow for spreading.
5. Bake the Crisps: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for PT10M to PT12M (10 to 12 minutes), or until the edges of the cheese mounds are golden brown and the centers have melted together, forming crisps.
6. Cool and Crisp: Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the crisps cool on the sheet for a few minutes to solidify. Then, use a spatula to transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely and become crispy.
