Cheesy Beef Quesadillas with Cilantro Delight

Ingredients

- 4 large tortillas
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 pound cooked taco beef
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare Ingredients
Ensure your taco beef is cooked and hot. Chop the cilantro leaves and set aside.

2. Heat the Pan
Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

3. Butter the Tortillas
Spread 1/2 tablespoon of butter onto one side of each tortilla.

4. Assemble the Quesadillas
Place one tortilla, buttered side down, into the skillet. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of shredded cheese evenly over the tortilla. Add 1/4 pound of the cooked taco beef on top of the cheese. Evenly distribute approximately 1 tablespoon of chopped cilantro over the beef. Finish with another 1/2 cup of cheese topped with a second tortilla, buttered side up.

5. Pan Fry the Quesadilla
Cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side until the tortilla is golden brown and crispy, and the cheese has melted. Carefully flip using a spatula.

6. Repeat
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the remaining tortillas and ingredients.

7. Serve
Once all quesadillas are cooked, let them cool slightly before cutting into wedges. Serve with your favorite salsa or sour cream, if desired.
