Cheesy Bread and Sauce Skillet Delight
Ingredients
- 4 slices of bread
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella recommended)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup pasta sauce (your choice of variety)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Bread:
Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on one side of each bread slice. Ensure it's evenly coated to provide a golden, crispy texture as it cooks.
2. Prepare the Cheese:
Distribute ½ cup of shredded cheese over the unbuttered side of two bread slices.
3. Layer and Assemble:
Place the unbuttered side of the remaining bread slices onto the cheese, forming two sandwiches. Press them gently together to compact slightly.
4. Heat the Skillet:
Place a non-stick skillet on the stove over medium heat. Allow it to warm up for about 1 minute.
5. Toast the Sandwiches:
