Chilled Lemonade Cream Delight
Ingredients
- 4 large lemons
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 cups filtered water
- 2 cups ice cubes
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
1. Prepare the Lemons:
- Roll each lemon on the countertop with your palm to soften.
- Cut the lemons in half and squeeze the juice into a measuring cup. You should aim for around 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice. Strain to remove seeds and pulp for a smooth texture.
2. Make the Lemon Syrup:
- In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and 2 cups of the filtered water.
- Place over medium heat on the stove. Stir continuously until the sugar fully dissolves, creating a clear syrup—approximately 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
3. Mix the Lemonade:
- In a large pitcher, combine the syrup with the freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Add the remaining 2 cups of filtered water to the pitcher.
- Stir well to combine all ingredients.
4. Add Creamy Texture:
- Gradually mix in the sweetened condensed milk, stirring thoroughly until completely integrated and creamy.
5. Chill and Serve:
- Add the ice cubes directly into the pitcher.
- Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, or until well chilled.
6. Final Touch and Presentation:
- Before serving, give the lemonade a good stir to ensure the condensed milk is evenly distributed.
- Pour into tall glasses and garnish with a lemon slice or a sprig of fresh mint for an elegant finish.
