Chilling Cherry Coke and Diet Coke Ice Pops
Ingredients
- 1 can (12 oz) Diet Coke
- 1 can (12 oz) Cherry Coke
Instructions
1. Prepare the Ice Pop Molds
- Ensure your ice pop molds are clean and dry. If you don't have traditional molds, small cups or a silicone muffin tray can be an alternative.
2. Mix the Beverages
- In a large mixing bowl or pitcher, combine the entire contents of the Diet Coke and Cherry Coke cans.
- Stir gently to mix the flavors without causing too much fizz, which can reduce the carbonation.
3. Pour into Molds
- Carefully pour the mixed soda into your ice pop molds, filling each compartment to about 3/4 full to allow for expansion as they freeze.
4. Insert Sticks
- If your molds come with lids and sticks, place them on now, ensuring they are centered. If using a muffin tray or cups, cover them with plastic wrap and insert wooden sticks or skewers through the plastic wrap to hold them upright.
5. Freeze
- Place the molds into the freezer, ensuring they are sitting flat. Allow them to freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight for best results.
6. Remove from Molds
- To release the ice pops, run warm water briefly over the outside of the molds or gently twist the molds to loosen the ice pops.
7. Serve Immediately
- Enjoy these refreshing Diet Coke and Cherry Coke Ice Pops as a delightful, fizzy snack!
