Chocolate Almond Snack Clusters with a Honey Mustard Twist
Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup almonds, roughly chopped

- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp wheat germ
- 1/2 cup yellow cornflakes
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Prepare the Chocolate Base:
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk.
- Microwave on high for 1 minute, then stir. If not fully melted, continue microwaving in 15-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until smooth.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, preparing it for the next steps.
2. Mix the Dry Ingredients:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped almonds, sea salt, chopped peanuts, sesame seeds, wheat germ, and yellow cornflakes.
- Toss the ingredients together until evenly distributed.
3. Create the Honey Mustard Drizzle:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, mustard, and soy sauce until well combined. Set aside.
4. Combine the Ingredients:
- Pour the cooled chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients and stir gently until all components are well coated with chocolate.
- Drizzle the honey mustard mixture over the chocolate-covered ingredients, folding gently to incorporate.
5. Shape the Clusters:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use a spoon to drop tablespoon-sized mounds of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them evenly apart.
