Cinnamon Vanilla Latte Protein Bowl



Ingredients



- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup coffee beans, coarsely ground
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp simple syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp caramel sauce
- 1/4 tsp lavender extract
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin spice
- 1/4 tsp peppermint mocha syrup
- 1 banana, sliced
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or chocolate flavor)
- 2 tbsp nut butter (use either peanut or almond based on preference)
- 1/4 cup almonds, toasted and chopped

Instructions



1. Brew the Coffee:
- In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil on the stove over medium heat.
- Add the ground coffee beans, stirring gently.
- Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes, then strain to separate the liquid coffee.

2. Prepare the Latte Base:
- In a separate saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium-low heat until warm (do not boil).
- Stir in 2 tablespoons of simple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Slowly add in the brewed coffee, mixing well.

3. Flavor Enhancements:
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce, 1/4 teaspoon lavender extract, 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin spice, and 1/4 teaspoon peppermint mocha syrup until thoroughly combined and fragrant.

4. Create the Protein Bowl:
- In a large mixing bowl, add 1 sliced banana, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, and 1 scoop of protein powder.
- Pour the prepared latte mixture over the contents of the bowl.

5. Add Nut Butter and Toppings:
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of your choice of nut butter (peanut or almond) over the top.
- Garnish with 1/4 cup chopped toasted almonds.

6. Serve:
- Mix gently and serve immediately in individual bowls for a refreshing and filling breakfast experience.
