Creamy Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine
Ingredients
- 12 oz. fettuccine pasta
- 1 lb. chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 ½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Cook the Fettuccine:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
- Add the fettuccine and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain the pasta and set aside, reserving 1 cup of the pasta water.

2. Prepare the Chicken:
- While the pasta is cooking, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

- Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.

- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet, tossing to coat the pasta thoroughly with the Alfredo sauce.
