Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
2. Mix the Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated sharp cheddar cheese, all-purpose flour, softened unsalted butter, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).
3. Form the Dough: Use your hands or a wooden spoon to mix the ingredients until they form a smooth and cohesive dough. If the dough is too crumbly, you can add a teaspoon of water to help bind it together.
