Crispy Herb-Crusted Bread Bites
Ingredients
- 8 slices of bread, preferably day-old
- 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.
2. Cut the Bread:
- Trim the crusts from all sides of the bread slices.
- Cut each slice into quarters to form evenly sized pieces.
3. Prepare the Herb Mixture:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Panko bread crumbs, dried parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, and salt. Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution of herbs and spices.
4. Coat the Bread:
- Gently press each piece of bread into the herb mixture, making sure all sides are well-coated with the seasoned bread crumbs.
- Tap off any excess mixture to avoid uneven cooking.
5. Bake:
