Instructions
1. Brown the Sausage: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the Italian sausage, breaking it into small pieces, until fully browned. This should take about 8 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
2. Layer Ingredients in Crock Pot: In a crock pot, add the browned sausage, frozen hash brown potatoes, black pepper, salt, and chicken broth. Stir to combine all ingredients.
