Decadent Breakfast Surprise: Grilled Chicken & Waffle Delight
Ingredients
- 2 Grilled Chicken Breast Strips
- 1 cup Frozen Buttermilk & Vanilla Protein Waffles (approximately 2 large waffles)
- 1 Mediterranean Chicken Quinoa Bowl (for seasoning and extra flavor)
- 2 Breaded Chicken Breast Fillets
- 1/2 cup Frozen Hash Browns
- 2 Beer-Battered Cod Fillets (for optional side)
- 1 package Mama Cozzi’s Rising Crust Pizza (for optional side)
- 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
Instructions
1. Prepare the Waffles:
- Warm the Frozen Buttermilk & Vanilla Protein Waffles according to package instructions using a toaster or oven. Aim for a crisp texture.
- Set aside, keeping them warm.
2. Cook the Hash Browns:
- In a large skillet, heat 1/2 tablespoon of Olive Oil over medium heat.
- Add the Frozen Hash Browns to the skillet.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
3. Cook the Chicken Fillets:
- In another skillet, heat the remaining 1/2 tablespoon of Olive Oil over medium heat.
- Place the Breaded Chicken Breast Fillets and Grilled Chicken Breast Strips into the skillet.
- Cook for 5-7 minutes per side until they are heated through and crispy.
4. Prepare the Quinoa Bowl:
- As the chicken cooks, open the Mediterranean Chicken Quinoa Bowl.
- Mix the contents well to evenly distribute the flavors.
- Add the quinoa blend to the skillet with the chicken during the last 2 minutes to infuse the flavors.
5. Assemble the Breakfast Delight:
- On a serving plate, place the warm waffles as the base.
- Top with the cooked hash browns.
- Add the Grilled and Breaded Chicken Strips.
- Sprinkle some of the Mediterranean quinoa mixture over the top for added flavor.
6. Serve Optional Sides:
- If desired, cook the Beer-Battered Cod Fillets according to the package instructions as a side dish.
- Prepare Mama Cozzi’s Rising Crust Pizza according to package instructions to round out the meal or as another side dish option.
