Decadent Espresso Brownie Bites with Raspberry Crunch
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 1 large egg
- 1 box brownie mix (approximately 18 ounces)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon instant espresso powder
- 1/4 teaspoon flaky salt
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted nuts (such as pecans or walnuts)
- 2 tablespoons crumbled freeze-dried raspberries
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the Brownie Batter
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter and egg. Whisk until well combined.
3. Incorporate the Dry Ingredients
Add the brownie mix and instant espresso powder to the wet ingredients. Stir until the batter is smooth and well-mixed.
4. Add the Extras
Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped toasted nuts gently with a spatula, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
5. Prepare the Baking Dish
Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray for easy removal of brownies later.
6. Pour and Level the Batter
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly with your spatula.
7. Bake the Brownies
Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs.
8. Cool and Add Toppings
Remove the brownies from the oven and immediately sprinkle the flaky salt and crumbled freeze-dried raspberries over the top. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
9. Cut and Serve
Once cooled, remove the brownie from the pan and cut evenly into 16 small squares. Serve and enjoy!
