Decadent No-Bake Peanut Butter Dream Dessert
Ingredients
- 12 whole graham crackers
- 1 package (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 cup whipped topping, thawed
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chopped chocolate
- 1/2 cup chopped peanut butter cups
Instructions
1. Prepare the Vanilla Pudding Layer:
In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk. Continue whisking for 2 minutes until the mixture thickens. Gently fold in 1 cup of whipped topping until well combined and set aside.
2. Prepare the Peanut Butter Layer:
In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter with 1/2 cup of the prepared vanilla pudding. Mix until smooth and reserve for layering.
3. Assemble the Dessert:
In an 8x8-inch square glass dish, layer 4 whole graham crackers at the bottom. Spread half of the peanut butter mixture over the crackers. Add another layer of 4 graham crackers. Spread the remaining vanilla pudding evenly on top, followed by a second layer of graham crackers and finally, the remaining peanut butter mixture.
4. Whip the Heavy Cream:
In a chilled mixing bowl, use a hand mixer on medium-high speed to whip 1 cup of heavy cream until soft peaks form.
5. Final Layer & Garnish:
Spread the whipped cream over the top peanut butter layer. Garnish with 1/4 cup of chopped chocolate and 1/2 cup chopped peanut butter cups for an extra touch of indulgence.
6. Chill the Dessert:
Cover the dessert with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours or ideally overnight for best results.
