Delectable Corn Casserole Delight
Ingredients
- 1 can (8.5 oz) frozen corn, thawed
- 1 can (14 oz) creamed corn
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 box Duncan Hines Dolly Parton’s Sweet Cornbread & Muffin Mix (15 oz)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat while you prepare the casserole.
2. Prep the Baking Dish: Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, melted butter, and eggs. Whisk together until smooth and well-mixed.
4. Incorporate Corns: Add the thawed frozen corn and creamed corn to the wet mixture. Stir thoroughly to ensure even distribution.
5. Combine with Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the Duncan Hines Dolly Parton’s Sweet Cornbread & Muffin Mix to the wet mixture, sprinkling the salt in as well. Gently fold the ingredients together until just combined; avoid over-mixing to maintain a light texture.
6. Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the casserole mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with a spatula.
