Delicious Breakfast Hash Bowl with Eggs, Sausage, and Avocado
Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups frozen hash browns
- 2 ripe avocados, pitted and diced
- 4 sausage links, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- A pinch of paprika (optional)
- Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Prepare Ingredients:
- Dice the avocados and slice the sausage links. Set aside.
2. Cook the Sausage:
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced sausage links and cook for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. Fry the Hash Browns:
- In the same pan, add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil.
- Add the frozen hash browns. Spread them evenly in the pan and press down lightly.
- Cook for about 8 minutes without moving them, then flip and cook for an additional 5 minutes, until golden brown and crispy. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika, if using.
4. Cook the Eggs:
- In a separate small pan over low-medium heat, crack the eggs carefully to keep the yolks intact.
- Cook them sunny side up until the whites are set, but the yolks remain runny, about 4 minutes. Season with a pinch of salt.
5. Assemble the Hash Bowl:
- Distribute the hash browns evenly into four serving bowls.
- Top each with sliced sausage, diced avocado, and a sunny-side-up egg.
- Garnish with fresh chopped chives and serve immediately.
