Exotic Fruit Medley Delight
Ingredients
- 1 cup peach slices, canned or fresh
- 1 cup pineapple chunks, canned or fresh
- 1 package (3.4 oz) vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 cup strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 cup seedless grapes (any color)
- 1/2 cup maraschino cherries, halved
- 1/4 cup maraschino cherry juice
- 1/2 cup orange juice
Instructions
1. Prepare the Pudding Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the vanilla instant pudding mix with the maraschino cherry juice and orange juice. Stir thoroughly with a whisk until the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
2. Add the Fruit:
Gently fold the peach slices, pineapple chunks, strawberries, banana slices, seedless grapes, and halved maraschino cherries into the pudding mixture. Ensure all the fruit is evenly coated with the pudding base.
3. Chill the Medley:
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. This allows the flavors to meld, and the pudding mixture to set up around the fruit.
4. Serve and Enjoy:
After chilling, gently stir the fruit medley before serving to redistribute any pudding that may have settled. Serve the dish in small bowls or dessert cups for a refreshing snack experience.
