Grilled Lemon-Paprika Chicken on a Charcoal Grill



Ingredients



- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 lemon, juiced and zested

Instructions



1. Prepare the Marinade
In a large bowl, combine minced garlic, olive oil, salt, black pepper, paprika, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Whisk together until the ingredients are fully incorporated, forming a vibrant marinade.

2. Marinate the Chicken
Add the chicken breasts to the bowl, ensuring they are evenly coated with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer the contents to a resealable plastic bag. Let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, up to 4 hours for deeper flavor penetration.

3. Preheat the Charcoal Grill
Prepare your charcoal grill for direct grilling. Arrange the coals on one side of the grill to create a two-zone fire, which allows for both direct and indirect cooking. Heat until the coals are ashed over and reach medium-high heat, approximately 350°F to 400°F.

4. Grill the Chicken
