Herb-Infused Lemon Garlic Chicken Thighs with Parmesan Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- Main Ingredients:
- 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- For Coating:
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- For the Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon mixed dried herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, and oregano)
Instructions
1. Preparation:
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Dredge each thigh in the flour, shaking off any excess.
2. Sauteing Chicken:
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Add the chicken thighs skin-side down. Saute for 6 minutes until the skin turns crispy and golden brown.
- Flip the chicken and cook for another 6 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3. Creating the Sauce:
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour the white wine into the skillet, scraping any brown bits off the bottom. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to medium. Stir in the heavy cream and parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Add the lemon juice and mixed herbs. Simmer for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Combine and Finish:
- Place the chicken thighs back into the skillet.
- Spoon the sauce over the chicken and let it simmer for an additional 10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
5. Serving:
- Serve the chicken thighs with the sauce drizzled over. Enjoy with your favorite side dish.
