Indulgent Hawaiian Coffee Cream Dessert
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup Pau Maui Hawaiian Vodka
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cream Base:
In a large saucepan, combine 2 cups of whole milk, 1 cup of half and half, and 1 cup of heavy cream. Stir gently using a wooden spoon to ensure the mixture does not scald.
2. Dissolve the Sugar:
Add 1 cup of granulated sugar into the saucepan with the milk mixture. Turn the stove onto medium-low heat and stir continuously until the sugar fully dissolves and the mixture is smooth. This should take about 5 minutes.
3. Heat the Mixture:
Gradually increase the heat to medium. Continue to stir frequently until small bubbles form along the edge of the pan but do not allow the mixture to come to a boil. This should take an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
4. Incorporate the Alcohol:
Remove the saucepan from the heat. Stir in 1/4 cup of Pau Maui Hawaiian Vodka and 1/4 cup of coffee liqueur. Continue to stir until all ingredients are well combined.
5. Cool the Mixture:
Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then transfer it to a glass container. Cover with a lid or plastic wrap.
6. Chill:
Refrigerate the mixture for at least 3 hours or until thoroughly chilled.
7. Serve:
Once chilled, pour into serving glasses. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a coffee bean for decoration.
