Irresistible Creamy Bacon & Pea Fusilli
Ingredients
- 12 oz Fusilli pasta
- 6 slices Bacon, chopped
- 1 cup Fresh peas
- 1 medium Carrot, diced
- 1/2 cup Ranch dressing
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
Instructions
1. Prep the Vegetables and Pasta:
- Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the Fusilli pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. This should take about 8-10 minutes. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
- While the pasta is cooking, dice the carrot into small, uniform pieces to ensure even cooking.
2. Cook the Bacon:
- In a large skillet, add the chopped bacon and pan fry over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease, leaving about 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in the pan.

- In the same skillet used for the bacon, add the diced carrot and peas to the reserved bacon fat over medium heat. Sauté until the carrots are tender and the peas are bright green, approximately 5-6 minutes.
4. Combine Ingredients:
- Reduce the skillet heat to low and add the drained Fusilli pasta to the vegetables.
- Stir in the crispy bacon pieces, ensuring they are evenly distributed.
5. Mix the Dressing:
- In a small bowl, whisk together the ranch dressing and mayonnaise until smooth.
