Irresistible Fruit-Filled Puff Pastry Medley
Ingredients
- 8 Benton’s Puff Pastry Squares
- 1/2 cup Apricot filling
- 1/2 cup Strawberry filling
- 1/2 cup Cherry filling
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready for the pastry baking.
2. Prepare Pastry Squares
Remove Benton’s Puff Pastry Squares from the package and place them on a clean, lightly floured surface. Allow them to thaw for about 10 minutes or until pliable.
3. Add the Fillings
- Take four puff pastry squares and spoon 1 tablespoon of apricot filling into the center of each square.
- For the remaining four squares, add 1 tablespoon of strawberry filling into the center of two squares and 1 tablespoon of cherry filling into the remaining two squares.
4. Seal and Shape the Pastries
- Fold each pastry square diagonally to create a triangle shape.
- Press the edges together with a fork, firmly sealing to prevent the filling from leaking during baking.
5. Prepare for Baking
- Place the filled pastry squares on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving an inch of space between each pastry.
- For a golden finish, optionally, brush a little water or milk over the tops of the pastries.
6. Bake the Pastries
Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until the pastries are puffed and golden brown. The filling should be hot and the pastry crispy.
7. Cool and Serve
