Irresistible Lemon Drizzle Cake



Ingredients



- Wet Ingredients:

Instructions



1. Preheat Your Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the Baking Pan:
- Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan with butter, and line with parchment paper for easy removal.

3. Mix the Wet Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar using a hand mixer until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Add the milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice, mixing until combined.

4. Combine the Dry Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.

5. Combine Wet and Dry:
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

6. Bake the Cake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.

7. Prepare the Lemon Drizzle:
