Ingredients
- 1/4 cup popcorn kernels
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions
1. Prepare the Popcorn
- Place the 1/4 cup popcorn kernels in a brown paper lunch bag. Fold the top of the bag over twice to seal it, ensuring it won't open during microwaving.
2. Microwave the Popcorn
- Place the bag in the microwave. Cook on high for approximately PT2M to PT3M (2 to 3 minutes), or until there are about 2 seconds between pops. Carefully remove the bag from the microwave — it will be hot.
3. Melt the Butter
- While the popcorn is popping, melt the 3 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl. This should take about PT30S (30 seconds) on high. Be cautious when removing the bowl, as it may be hot.
4. Mix the Seasoning
- Add 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper to the melted butter. Stir until well combined to create a savory herb butter.
5. Combine and Serve
- Once the popcorn is done, carefully open the bag and pour the popcorn into a large bowl. Drizzle the herb butter over the popcorn, tossing gently to ensure even coating. Serve immediately for the best flavor experience.
