Kool-Aid Creamy Popsicles

Ingredients

- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons Kool-Aid powder (any flavor of your choice)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

1. Combine Cream and Milk:
In a medium-sized saucepan, pour 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of whole milk. Stir them gently to combine, ensuring a smooth blend.

2. Add Dry Ingredients:
Add 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 2 tablespoons of Kool-Aid powder, and 1/8 teaspoon of salt to the mixture. Whisk until the sugar and Kool-Aid powder are completely dissolved, resulting in a uniform liquid.

3. Heat the Mixture:
Place the saucepan over medium heat. Stir the mixture continuously until it's hot but not boiling, approximately 5 minutes. Monitor the heat to prevent the milk from scorching.

4. Incorporate Vanilla:
Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Ensure the vanilla is fully mixed into the creamy blend.

5. Cool the Mixture:
Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, which should take about 15-20 minutes.

6. Prepare Popsicle Molds:
Once the mixture has cooled, pour it evenly into popsicle molds. Leave a small gap at the top of each mold to allow for expansion as they freeze.

7. Freeze the Popsicles:
Insert popsicle sticks into the molds and place them in the freezer. Allow the popsicles to freeze completely, which typically takes about 4 hours or until fully set.

8. Serve and Enjoy:
Once frozen solid, remove the popsicles from their molds by briefly running warm water over the outside of the molds. Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy, flavorful treat!
