Luscious Vanilla Condensed Milk Cake
Ingredients
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup self-rising flour
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Prepare the Baking Dish:
Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray to prevent sticking.
3. Beat the Eggs:
In a large mixing bowl, crack the 3 eggs. Beat the eggs using an electric mixer on medium-high speed until they are pale and frothy, about 3 minutes.
4. Add Sweetened Condensed Milk:
Gradually pour in the sweetened condensed milk, while continuously beating the mixture on medium speed. Mix until fully incorporated and smooth.
5. Incorporate the Dry Ingredients:
Gently fold in the self-rising flour with a spatula or wooden spoon, a little at a time, until the flour is fully blended into the batter. Ensure there are no lumps.
6. Add Vanilla Extract:
Add the vanilla extract to the batter, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix to ensure the cake remains light and airy.
7. Pour and Smooth the Batter:
Transfer the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly with the spatula.
8. Bake the Cake:
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
9. Cool and Serve:
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the dish on a wire rack for about 10 minutes. Once slightly cooled, slice and serve warm or at room temperature.
