Maple Dijon Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Crispy Bacon



Ingredients



- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 4 oz bacon, chopped
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions



1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). This will ensure the Brussels sprouts roast evenly and become golden brown.

2. Prepare Brussels Sprouts and Bacon
In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts and chopped bacon. Add salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Toss to mix the ingredients thoroughly.

3. Mix Maple Dijon Glaze
In a small bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar until smooth. This sweet and tangy glaze will elevate the flavors of the roasted vegetables.

4. Combine and Coat
Pour the maple Dijon glaze over the Brussels sprouts and bacon mixture. Toss everything well to ensure each piece is coated evenly with the glaze.

5. Roast in the Oven
