Maple-Glazed Sriracha Brussels Sprouts with Balsamic Drizzle
Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and allow it to preheat while you prepare the Brussels sprouts.
2. Prepare the Brussels Sprouts: In a large bowl, toss the trimmed and halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper to evenly coat them.
3. Roast the Brussels Sprouts: Spread the seasoned Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until they are tender and have a nice golden-brown color.
4. Prepare the Glaze: While the Brussels sprouts are roasting, prepare the glaze by whisking together the maple syrup, balsamic glaze, sriracha, honey, apple cider vinegar, vegetable broth, lemon juice, and balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan.
5. Heat the Glaze: Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for about 5 minutes until it slightly thickens, then remove it from the heat.
6. Coat the Brussels Sprouts: Once the Brussels sprouts are roasted, transfer them back to the large bowl and pour the prepared glaze over them. Toss well to ensure each sprout is evenly coated.
7. Serve: Transfer the glazed Brussels sprouts to a serving dish and drizzle with additional balsamic glaze if desired. Serve hot.
