Miso Maple Glazed Salmon
Ingredients
- 4 Salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
- 1/4 cup Shiro miso paste
- 3 tablespoons Maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Agave syrup
- 3 tablespoons Low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Ground black pepper
Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
2. Prepare the Glaze
In a small bowl, combine the shiro miso paste, maple syrup, agave syrup, low-sodium soy sauce, minced garlic, and ground black pepper. Stir until you achieve a smooth, well-blended glaze.
3. Marinate the Salmon
Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Using a brush or spoon, generously coat each fillet with the miso maple glaze. Let the salmon marinate for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate.
4. Bake the Salmon
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake the salmon for 15-18 minutes or until the fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. (Internal temperature should reach 145°F.)
5. Serve
Remove the salmon from the oven. Transfer onto plates and drizzle with any remaining glaze from the baking sheet. Serve warm, paired with your choice of sides such as steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
